Travel Grants
Graduate Students
Travel Grants are offered specifically to fund the travel needs of graduate students who are attending a academic conference or training that advances their professional development. This funding will cover only the costs of transportation and cannot be used toward food or lodging costs. The Travel Grants provided by the Graduate School for Graduate students, are funded through GPSA. Students pursuing graduate degrees -- thesis or non-thesis -- should consult the Graduate School Travel Grant web page for program information and deadlines.
Professional Students
Students working towards professional degrees (PharmD, DVM, MBA) may apply for travel grants online through the GPSA website. The Travel Grant fund is limited and is intended for educational & training opportunities only. The travel grant may be used to defray transportation costs, but will not include losging or food costs. Due to financial constraints, rarely will 100% of a request be funded. This fund is geared towards rewarding scholastic achievement for students who have extraordinary training opportunities away from the University campus.
The GPSA Travel Grant and Registration Grant committees have chosen the applicants that will be awarded funds for the grant period. Please note, the funds awarded by the travel grant program are to be used only for transportation to and from the conferences/conventions listed on your application and the funds awarded by the Registration Grant Program are to be used toward the registration for the conferences/conventions listed on your application.
