Senate
The GPSA Senate is the primary representative body for graduate and professional students at Washington State University. The Senate typically meets twice each month on Monday evenings. Senators are elected by their respective departments and serve a one year term of office.
Senators act as a voice for their individual program's concerns as well as for issues that affect the greater campus community. In addition to participating in Senate meetings, each senator is required to serve on one university committee. Meetings are held in CUE 119
The number of senators per department is dependent on the program's current enrollment of graduate and professional students.
