GPSA Committees
Budget Committee
Reviews the budget and expenditures. Prepares the budget presentation for the S&A fee committee. Meets as needed, usually once a month.
Wiley Research Exposition Committee
Assists in planning and implementing the annual fall semester Wiley Research Exposition. Meets as needed, usually once a month, and more often in Sept.-Oct.
Election Committee
Conducts the general election of GPSA executive officers during spring semester. Meets mainly during election time in March.
Constitution and Bylaws Review
Reviews and suggests revisions of the Constitution and Bylaws to the Senate. Meets as needed.
TA excellence and Advisor Awards
Collects nominations for awards and determines the winner. Meets for fall and spring awards.
Events Committee
Organizes social events for grad/prof students for networking opportunities, personal enrichment and to meet colleagues in other departments.
Childcare Committee
Researches and discusses childcare issues and brainstorm ideas to help make childcare budgetary decisions, including the GPSA Childcare Subsidy Program.
Athletic Programming Committee
Assists in the development/implementation of athletic proposals for grad/prof students.
New Student Orientation
Develops the information to present to the new graduate students during orientation programs.
Professional Student Travel Grant Committee
Reviews professional student travel grant applications and awards funding each semester.
Registration & Special Travel Funds Committee
Reveiws graduate and professional student registration grants and awards funding each semester.
